Saved Games lost - Vortex Fallout 4

Needing some assistance! :sad:

 

I've run fallout 4 in Vortex and noted that none of my save game files are attached. Under the fallout 4 save game files tab, as well as the fallout 4 save games folder in the mygames folder.

 

A few days ago, vortex opened with an error stating something had been moved - this was in regards to skyrim and as that worked fine I didnt think it would lead to any issues.

 

Is there any way to frind a backup for saves - possibly on steam itself or a folder somewhere else that i'm not looking at.

Just go to C:\users\<YOUR NAME>\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Saves\

And if you set up a profile or something, then you will see folders named weird things such as "1pOarCluf" or "BotN74xCrD" and inside that will be your saves.

 

 

It'd be really helpful if you could tell use what that error was about 'something being move', and if you had done something different when you got that error message.


Have you made any new profiles for Fallout 4?
