At the moment I am making a 60 mins video in which I explain how to optimize the game for weak PCs and for PCs that have excessive performance. So for the second (monster pcs), I prepared the clipmaps-high.json configuration file, that extends the rendering range, without completely killing performance. Now I get about 20-30 frames with core i3 (this game is cpu-aggresive after manipulation with clipmaps), tomorrow I will test it on core i9. I already spent about a week finding all the tricks with the registry, drivers, and the windows settings for this game.
Now I am faced with the fact that even after increasing the distance of drawing objects to a maximum, I still encounter appearing shadows/shadowmaps at medium distance, and a pretty short distance of ambient lightning in caves etc. Here is a video that shows the problem:
Please help me to fix this, I need shadows on the ground to be processed at least twice as far as the standard settings. As far i can see, I need to modify gamefiles like 0Harmony.dll or UnityEngine.CoreModule.dll with dnsspy to achieve this??? But that is too hard for me.
Looking for your reply guys and sorry for my english, it's not my native.
P.S. It is impossible to fix this with clipmaps-high.json, it is responsible only for the distance of objects/grass/object detail, but not for shadows or shadow maps. The ambient lightning distance in different areas also does not depend on it. castShadows":true in every section doesn't help.
