Vortex can't see GTA5.exe

I just installed the free version of GTAV from Epic Games. The GTA5.exe file is in the GTAV folder but Vortex doesn't seem to "see" it. Any idea when this will be working?

I don't even have a .exe file for GTA. I also downloaded it for free from Epic Games and im trying to use OpenIV

 

The file path C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Launcher doesn't contain GTA5.exe

Since it's from the Epic Game store, try looking for GTA5.exe being under a a path that has "EPIC" or "EpicGames" or "Epic Games" folder in the path

 

Alternatively, try searching for GTA5.exe and if windows finds it, right click, scroll down to OPEN FILE LOCATION, and windows will bring you straight to the GTA5.exe folder

i pulled this down last week. All my games are on my D drive, so the path to GTA5 on my machine is as follows;

 

D:\Epic Games\GTAV
