Slow Downloads, US, 5/23/20

Hello, I'd like to submit a slow download report. It seems I'm far from the only one, looking here, and it's probably server traffic or something, but if this is helpful, here it is.

 

Most downloads I'm seeing are in the 182 kb/s range, or they just refuse to download at all and sit at "1 KB/s" with no progress at all. No problem with small files, so I'm guessing the Cloudflare side is fine and the issue is on the Nexus side.

 

Country: USA

 

ISP: Comcast/Xfinity

 

Download Tests:

 

• Paris: It says no, times out
• Amsterdam: 3.5 MB/s
• Prague: 3.5 MB/s
• LA: between 49 KB/s and 182 KB/s, average about 80, changes very frequently
• Chicago: 3.7 MB/s
• Miami: 2-4 MB/s, also changes frequently
• Singapore: 1-2 MB/s, changes frequently

Interesting, it seems you're being routed to the LA server, but Miami should be a lot closer.

 

I'll poke the devs and see if they can confirm this. Thanks for the report.
