I love having a huge plantable field at Heljarchen Hall. But I hate it when Skald the Intolerant sends me to kill a harmless giant just so I can have an alchemical field of glory! Can the Kill the Giant quest be altered so we don't actually have to kill the giant? Perhaps we just lie and tell the grumpy old jarl we killed it - if our Speech is high enough. It's not like he actually goes out and checks... Or perhaps all we have to do is bring him a Giant's Toe as "proof" of our mission. Or maybe we tell him to stuff it and just sell us the property anyhow (with a high enough Speech, that is). Maybe just eliminate the quest altogether; no prerequisite for Heljarchen Hall? I wouldn't know where to begin to edit the quest without messing things up. I don't know much about the quest system - this seems like it should be easy, but from what I've read, editing/changing quests doesn't seem to be easy at all. Thanks to anyone who can help!
