Mod Request: Weapon Speed Capper

The Mount & Blade games have always had an issue with weapon speed limits.

 

Too high and the weapon swings so fast it doesn't register as hitting the target. As such, it's hard to really tweak the game with mods or cheats that send a stat over a default maximum.

 

I'd like to see a mod that would go last in the mod list and cap weapon speeds at x amount so that we could push a skill, such as one handed, to 900 and not have a sword be completely useless.

works well for me atleast and iam using attributes reloaded aswell which increases attack speed, but with both mods you dont get jedi lightning attack speed from tharos and his likes.

To the modder that wants to implement this. In SandBox.dll the class SandBoxAgentStatCalculateModel is used when spawning units in battle. The thing you want to cap is agentDrivenProperties.SwingSpeedMultiplier. A postfix on UpdateHumanStats() where you check if SwingSpeed is too big would probably be the easiest way.
