Respawning bandits RNG like in skyrim

Hi so I have an idea for a mod. Thiers no Mod request for Morrowind unlike Oblivion so Im gonna post here forgive me if this isnt appropriate for the board on the for. Anyways I had an Idea for a mod basically Its a bandit re-spawner but it works like a Random number generator were let say you kill a female dunmer bandit in Netch leather armor and wielding a iron dagger that after about 72 in game days that dunmer bandit is replace with a imperial male with a iron armor chest piece and a steel long sword. Basicly when one enemy npc dies another one takes its place with a completely diffrent race,class,major and minor skills,items ect.



This Hypothetical script would applied to bandits in the dungeons and on the overworld. Maybe also when thy die their placement on the map changes both in dungeons and on the over world. I think mods like morrowind come alive and Vvardenfell Bandits 1 and 2 do this But i havet done any testing to find out maybe a script like this already exsist in the game. Yes you can make so npc respawn but that just make so that the same npc respawns all the time that boring.



I would do this my self but I never scripted before I tried doing this and I got bored. Nothing I did worked basiclly im slow, not the smartest and I dont feel like learning morrowind scripting language also I real life gets in the way of making mods (as most of you know) and I want to focus on my personal life rather then fan made addons for video games made 17 years ago. Maybe if someone knew how to script in morrowinds language wanted to help me learn I would appreciate it but I dont expect that to happen.



Well I hope some one reads this and likes my Idea. PLEASE make this it dosent have to be for a event like morrowind moddathon it could just be like a modders resource script or something like that

Have you seen the Hostiles mod? Not quite what you're talking about but similar enough. There's a very small chance of someone making exactly what you've written.

Iv herd of that mod? Its been awhile since I last thought about it. dose it have scripts like the ones I mentiond?

No it uses levelled lists, which is the mechanism the game's got for introducing the kind of randomness you talk about.

Huh, could I put lets say a NPC leveled list into another NPC and If I kill that NPC he or she will respawn as a different character ? Or that's not how it works

What do you mean by new race? A custom made one? Then it's no.

 

A NPC can only have one class and one level with the associated stats.

 

I mainly set the vanilla NPC's to respawn even if you killed them more than 3 in-game days ago with a randomized equipment and a lot of things I created.

 

I don't know if it's compatible with Morrowind rebirth.

I ment will the race of the NPC change let say you kill a dark elf male he will change from a wood elf female and then a imperial male knight to nord barbarian etc and I ment openMW not morrowind rebirth
