Gday guys.

So I've been modding the heck out of Fallout 4 lately and I've been having a lot of fun but my game will randomly crash when ever i leave a building/interior to go into the outside world.

It doesnt happen a lot, maybe every hour or two but its still annoying to deal with.

I have tried uninstalling a few mods that i thought might be causing the issues with no luck.

Can anyone tell me what mods are likely to cause this issue and any possible fixes?

Thanks.

1st off - Uninstalling a mod during a current game will not ' fix ' the issue. The script and such is still in your saved game. Just a fact of life.

. o O ( To insure it's not a mod, you actually have to start the game over w/the mod / mods removed to insure IF it is a given mod / mods. )

Maybe a copy / paste of your mods might help?

But in the end you might have to actually have to engage the P.I.T.A. Protocol and start a CLEAN game with ALL MODS TURNED OFF.

.. Than play for a bit to insure that the issue / issues are NOT in the game. IF it happens then it's not a mod / mods and something wrong in your core game.

Then, exit the vault - Save ( no mods ) and go to Sanctuary and / or my hangout Red Rocket and - SAVE - and back them up to fall back onto, JUST IN CASE. Trust me on this one!!

Exit game and turn on 2 - 4 mods at a time and no more than that. Play for short while and do whatever it is that causes the game to CTD.

.. No CTD - save at a homebase or where ever and activated 2 - 4 more mods and repeat.

Do these steps until all mods are active and / or when the problem / problems happen and make note of mods. Do NOT assume it is just one mod, trust me on this one too.

NO CTD's ....
