I am attempting to modify the combo system with the intent mainly of reducing the number of strikes it takes to complete a combo.

 

I found several pertinent files and decided I only needed to edit the following:

 

Libs\Tables\combat\combat_combo_step.xml

 

Where I changed atk_combat_zone_id and step values (stopping at 1 instead of 2)

 

Libs\Tables\rpg\perk_combo_step.xml

 

Where I changed the combo_step_id to 1

 

I did this for each of the four 3 step longsword combos. It may just be I cant turn 3 step combos into 2 step combos? I havent yet tried altering the 4 step combos or simply changing individual steps in an existing combo. I suspect if I just wanted to change the directional inputs it would work fine.

 

I am hoping someone has thoughts about how I can edit the combo inputs so that fewer inputs will trigger a combo. I am pretty new at this and really just go into it because of how it took like ten seconds for bows to reach full draw. (Which if you ever shot a bow is complete nonsense)
