NPC Barter/Economy simulation?

Hiya all!

I was wondering if it was possible to add in a new AI behavior to simulate NPCs actually shopping for new equipment.
I know there are some AI packages and mods avaiable, but none have implemented anything like this so far (as far as i know)


Most of the NPCs have jobs, so they could receive a regular small amount of gold, which, in turn they could use to buy better stuff for themselves, new clothing, better weapons, food, drinks etc.

Plus, this would further randomize the inventory of merchants, as the other NPCs would buy and sell stuff.


Thanks for reading, just an idea to solve an immersion problem i always had with Bethesda's AI simulation.
