lvlnem Posted June 3, 2020 Share Posted June 3, 2020 Hello !I have a huge problem with my Skyrim LE I never encountered before and I come here to find help because I'm about to just quit and uninstall it forever :'(Last time I launched the game (2 or 3 days ago) all was fine. This morning I launch Skyrim, steam update itself and when I load a save it seems to load fine but then I have a message of missing content (skyrim.esm, update.esm, Dawnguard.esm, dragonborn.esm, Hearthfire.esm, Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch, and Apaachi Hair Male) All this files exsists and are enabled in my load order. If I launch the save anyway, I have messages poping stating new mods are installed (all mods that were installed long ago in this save).If I create a new game all seems fine but when I reload it I have a message about Dual Sheath Redux Patch and I don't have any hair nor armors, NPC are naked...I tried to redo the skyProc Patchers but to no avail...I don't have anymore idea to try to fix this so any help is welcomed (don't suggest to uninstall/reinstall becaus I don't have faith to remod it for the 1000th time :'( ).Thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
leonardo2 Posted June 3, 2020 Share Posted June 3, 2020 First, post your loadorder and tell us what you did before this happen as that often might give a hint what went wrong. I know this is for Oblivion, but it works for Wrye Bash regardless what game (Oblivion, Skyrim, SSE, Fallout 3, Fallout 4) you're playing. I recommend that you use Hadoram's Save game script cleaner tool and I dunno how many times that tool saved my game, because your problem is likely caused by the information baked into saves issue. I just deleted old saves and screenshots that was useless to save some disk space). I've already used a tool to compare my install directory with an old backup and I didn't accidentaly deleted important files. So if I did such a noob mistake I don't see which file is missing :(I also already tried to clean my save to no avail.I don't understand why it tolds me i'm missing skyrim.esm and other vanilla dlc esm and still succeed in loading the save. If those esm was missing it would crash.
