my game crashs when i start skse64 when SkyUI is installed

i never used a form before for skyrim so i have no idea what im suppost to be saying here but i am using the vortex mod and it works fine without without the SkyUi mod but when i add it it refuses to upon this is been 2 days of this and i have got all the stuff that people request for this stuff such as loot and inventory 2 apps i have i have tryed the skse loader but that don't even open it just pops up a black screen really quickly and stops and just stops trying everything is up to date

Well start slow. Vortex is a Mod Manager, not a Mod.

Are you running Skyrim LE or Skyrim SE?

Where did you get SKSE? Did you follow the instructions from that site?

Do you have the right SkyUI for the game you are running?

And please don't run Loot with Vortex... Vortex has it built in.

I put up at the tag skyrim se skyrim special edition plus i have tryed every methed known to man and i have spent 2 days on this even rn im tinkering trying to get to work and i have tryed about 18 guides and tutoials on SKSE and im prity sure i have the right skyUI it was this one https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12604?tab=description

OK, did you download THIS version of SKSE64? Because that's the one you need.

 

 

 

 

Also, did you follow these instructions included in the SKSE64 7z to install it porperly?

[ Installation ]

1. Copy the .dll and .exe files to your Skyrim SE directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder under Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\. If you see files named SkyrimSE and SkyrimSELauncher, this is the correct folder. Do not copy these files to the Data folder as with a normal mod. The "src" folder is only useful for programmers, most users can ignore it.

2. Copy the .pex files in Data\Scripts\ into the Data\Scripts\ folder of your installation. The .pex files are needed by all users of SKSE.

 

Did you also set SKSE64 as PRIMARY in your Dashboard?
