Instant hostility when entering Atomic Wrangler

So whenever I enter the Atomic Wrangler, after like 3 seconds or so pass I get the message "Freeside Infamy Gained" (although my pip-boy claims I still have neutral reputation), then everyone turns hostile and opens fire on me. This only happens on the character I am currently playing; on a different character as a test, I tried the same thing and I was able to enter with no hostility. I looked on the wiki and there is a mention of this as a vanilla bug, but only for PS3 and X360 versions of the game. Is this just a really annoying bug, or could it be a mod conflict or save corruption? Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Iâm running the same list and I believe itâs coming from Enhanced NPC Awareness. I ran into the instant hostility at Atomic Wrangler then it came back later at Ranger Station Charlie and Echo. I got frustrated trying to quickly set aggression to 0 and failing so I quit and plan on removing Enhanced NPC Awareness from the load order tomorrow. Check out the posts for that mod and there are a few people that were experiencing the same problem.

 

EDIT: After disabling Enhanced NPC Awareness, I'm still getting hostility at the ranger stations. Going to do some more investigating on this.
