Load order help? Please?

New to modding, pretty much followed someone elses load order and then added some adult mods, and I just get instant crashes. I've been juggling around with online tutorials and every load order assistance vid I could find but, I dont know, I guess Im just bad at it lol. Any assistance is appreciated.

This is the Vortex support forum, you'd get more help with Fallout New Vegas in the Fallout New Vegas modding support forum.

I WILL tell you that one of your problems is that you have TWO community Patches installed when you should only have ONE.

Use YUP, not Mission Mojave as YUP has been updated the most recently

Also, I see you're using WMX, but apparently haven't followed the instructions on the Description page about making a Merge Patch with FNVedit for WMX.

Lastly, I believe the Engine could only handle around 125 mods, and not 172 due to a bug

Also, you have New California Installed, but must not have looked at the Description page to check the INCOMPATIBILITY list, which contains at least one of the mods you're using.
That's why it's very important to read the Description pages.

From Slower Level Rates "To install, simply download the file, pick which rate you would prefer, and activate that one file."

 

Did you ever have the game start and run with no mods installed? Did you add the mods a few at a time and check in the game to ensure the game would start?

 

You are also about 50 files over the game limit, unless you have installed FNV Mod Limit Fix.

I recommend anyone read the entire "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article to understand the differences between this game and others you may have experience with; especially if this is your first attempt to play a modded FNV or it's been more than a year since you last did so. It is designed for someone who has never played a modded PC game before, so it tries to avoid making any assumptions, is kept "up-to-date", and covers years of "lessons learned". It is NOT a list of various mods to install that happen to work on the author's machine. It addresses fundamentals underlying how to get the basic game and mods to work together.
