Saw something like this in an old, old, old, OLD YT video, where some guy with extensive Halo .map modding knowledge and a devkit, was able to do some pretty intense projectile swapping/modding on Halo 3.

 

The two awesome things I remember seeing that I'd like to reproduce, were a rocket launcher that creates a shower of spike grenade spikes when the rocket detonates, and my favorite, a vehicle-launching gun.

 

I've been able to create a crude imitation of the vehicle launcher with meta swapping. (Pulling the trigger causes a ghost to plop right in front of you) but this isn't good enough. I want a gun that shoots objects at a VELOCITY. (Send a scorpion or crate flying into enemies at mach 1).

 

Is this even possible?
