this seems to me a more helpful and cordial comment (Deadblot2); I appreciate this specification, it is information that helps me decide which mod of this type to use.
I would not recommend using Fo4Fi because of its tendency to cause missing buildings in several areas of the game, among other flaws. The mod author has also seemed to have dropped it completely as of the last update. I would still recommend new users to use Boston FPS fix to avoid these problems.

I think some of the performance issue dont occur until about 100 hours with Horizon. Thats when you start having more than 100,000 items in your workbench and that can start to cause lag when crafting. Im not aware of any way to fix that, but maybe the Buffout 4 team or the UF4P team can fix it. Its most likely due to resources being parsed everytime the UI updates, which could be changed to something storing info and just waiting for an actual change to rewrite the cache.

Ive been using Luxor's LOD as its more updated and seems to lack some of the oddness that Neura can have with mods that alter the vanilla worldspaces.

EDIT: After taking 10 hours to download PhyOP with my garbo internet and doing a bit more tweaking. Up to almost a solid 60 fps no matter where I'm at! Just slight hiccups where I'll dip to around 52. This game has never looked better. Again, Thanks a ton for this wonderful guide!

You suggested to combine it with another guide. But that guide is from 2019, are you sure that other guide is still viable?
