SSE Bodyslide doesn't change body in-game. (CBBE 3BBB)

Hello, I've been trying to mod Skyrim for a while now, My main issue is to do with bodyslide. I didn't have problems with it in the past, but I think it might have something to do with the new body I haven't tried before, CBBE 3BBB. Tried just CBBE in the past and it worked fine. When I load the game my nude character looks like the CBBE Slim version, but indeed has the physics I applied. Here's what my MO2 window looks like, I just started modding the game yesterday.

So here's the problem, I launch Bodyslide through MO2, Apply a shape I made to the 3BBB body and build.

It said it successfully edited the files, so I thought I was good to go. However nothing changed in-game.

 

Next I tried to patch build the shape to everything, with the Build Morphs checkbox checked

Again I get no problems changing the files, and again the body doesn't change.

 

I tried clothing too and they just look like CBBE slim with no physics.

 

If anyone at all would know a way to fix this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

 

Oh, when I launch bodyslide manually from the folder itself and not through the manager, (As administrator) I'm not getting any of the Outfit/Body or Preset options on the drop boxes. This doesn't happen when I launch through MO2 so I mostly ignored it, but I thought it would be good to let you know. If you need any additional info, do tell.

I don't use SSE/MO2, I use LE and the old NMM. But I'll try to help you.

 

First, for physics you need FNIS. If you don't know how to use FNIS just read the desc, its not hard u should just go to Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users and update fnis behavior after every animation.

 

When you preview the body in bodyslide what does it look like? If it looks good in bodyslide it means when you build the body, it doeson't overwrite your files so you have to do it manually.

 

I recommend you to reinstall the bodyslide and select CBBE options and try to launch bodyslide manually.

Ah thanks for the help, I just figured it out. The problem was that I was using this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30174 (NSFW)

All I did was use this instead https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/29023/?tab=description (also NSFW). it lead me to the first link which I thought was the better option and I can see the difference, but after I installed the body on 2nd link and modified the correct body on bodyslide, I got it working, the nude body that is. I'll still have to figure out the clothes. Usually I've just downloaded an armor replacer with hdt and bodyslide support, I guess I'll need smp support now aswell. Time to hunt for armors !

yeah i had the same issue coming from 3bbb smp to 3bbb

the reason i did that is because the 3bbb is just better because it has more nodes etc. and is itslelf an updated version of 3ba and 3bbb smp. SSE modding is even more convoluded than FO4s (but the issue is actually that im guessing youre using MO btw) is that it isnt overwriting the old bodyslide files that is already there. idk why it only happens with 3bbb as my files i found were way older than my last time using 3bbb smp so that in and of itself isnt just 3bbb its all of them 3ba 3bbb and 3bbb smp. if you do still wanna use 3bbb. note down where the bodyslide says 3bbb amazing is going and then delete those files bodyslide 3bbb amazing again. fixed.
