Not sure I would consider it my 'favorite' thing to do..... just an ingrained habit. :) But, I check my email, and read some news. Then move on to checking various forums that I am responsible for, then the ones I have an interest in. (like this one....)

Ha ha ... great remember when for me JJ. APOD was my first stop for years (more like decades). Now for some reason it's the GMAD forum (sort of a catching up on my favourite soaps type thing I suspect), though of late I have taken more time looking through the headlines on my Canadian version MSN.com homepage (COVID crap and the like are the most likely to get a click) before hitting the BookMarks bar icon for the Nexus Forums page.

Not sure how APOD got bumped from the lead spot.

I normally get to what I call the "world news" right about now (lunchtime coffee) ... Dilbert followed by my favourites on GoComics (hmm .. what did Calvin get himself into today, Spaceman Spiff if I'm lucky).

I try my best to keep reality at bay ... has a huge impact on improved outlook.

First I think about all the people who made me aware of the Video Game Arcade store, linger on the thinking, I remember all the games people made who made the VIC-20 and the spaceship shooter I broke 500,000 hits before getting shot down.

Later all the people from Windows 3.1 who made it possible for the PC with my fav Flight Simulator then a few games which upset my stomach until Duke Nukem.

Then I think about how I got a newsie from Bethesda who sent me a trailer for Morrowind that took 40 hours to download with a 56 KB installed modem, and it wasn't in Suran when I got the game in 1999, then I imagine that since the day I played Duke Nukem and today No Man's Sky. All that was and still is my favorite thing to do in the morning before I plunge into the woods outside my 125 x 35 square foot lot with my wooden tent and "Really Actually" pretend play like the good ol days before I had to manicure the place like a good little boy for my Mom.

My favorite thing is thinking of all the people who've given my life an interesting number of twists that may have been the reason I have lived so long. :- ) If my older relatives had known about that they would have figured out why I acted and felt so young all those years.

One of my favorite lines from Spaceman Spiff: " ... Doomed! We are all doomed!!! " ;)

And let's face it: Dilbert ROCKS!!!

But hey - get APOD back on your list!! :D

Ah, the Commodore Vic-20. My first personal computer. Then the C=64, then the C=128-64 and then the Commodore Amiga, that was a AWESOME computer.

I learned to program on the C= Vic 20 and C=64 and forward!

Had a peek for the first time in a long time today after you gave me that first nudge. Glad to say I recognised Thor's Helmet immediately before I even glanced at the description.

Carbon date?!

No; I think that is ink from when you changed the black ink, to orange, then to blue, green, purple and, then to the red ink ribbon in your printer for those really fantastic Banners to hang for birthday party time. I picked up the really rockin party tune for you to remember them days.

 Don't forget to bring some present's.
