ff7legend Posted June 20, 2020 Share Posted June 20, 2020 For whatever reason, my game refuses to load any save I make after exiting to the desktop. When I click Continue, the game acts like it is loading the save & upon loading, instant CTD. However, if I delete the latest save & reload from a save made prior to the latest save I made, the game loads just fine. I have no idea what would cause this & would appreciate any help on this subject. I have .NET Script Framework installed but no crash log is ever created when the game CTDs after attempting to load my latest save... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But I would make a test: what happens if you move (when the game is not running) the latest save from the saves folder to another location and then try to launch and "Continue" the game?a) The game will refuse to "Continue" with this "second to last" save because it became (formally) the latestorb) The game will "Continue" normally because this save is not (actually) the latest Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ff7legend Posted June 22, 2020 Author Share Posted June 22, 2020 If I select New Game from the main menu, create a new character, then hit Pause, select Load & load the last save I just made, the game loads my save just fine.
