It follows the inverse square law, so 1/4 the coverage gives 16 times the protection. I'm sure you have seen some armor that has to be close to thousands, if not millions of times the protection. I am actually happy with the armors I do have haha, it's just that downloading things for game is so much fun and I can do it for hours but for Skyrim I wish there was more actual armors to scroll through and fill my game with.
