Some mods do not fully Deploy (Fallout 4)

I'm a bit on a dead end here.

I've installed fallout 4 yesterday and downloaded 30 mods for it using Vortex 1.2.17

Some of these mods work no problem (Pipboy 2000, Fallsouls and Boston Natural Surroundings) However some mods do not deploy correctly for instance Immersive HUD.

In the MCM menu they do pop up but they only show an error. I've also downloaded everything these mods ask for to work properly. (F4SE for instance)

I've no clue what goes wrong here.

Also some other technical stuff.

Running on Windows 64bit with 32gb of ram.

Mod Staging Folder, Download folder and Fallout 4 are all located in (D:) drive (HDD)

Hopefully someone knows an answer to this, If I need to provide additional information i'm happy to provide.

What ERRORS show in the MCM menu?

Did you install F4SE properly?

F4SE Install
[ Installation ]
1. Copy the dll, f4se_loader.exe, and f4se_steam_loader.dll files to your Fallout installation folder. This is usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4\, but if you have installed to a custom Steam library then you will need to find this folder yourself. The files in _for_test_only are, as it says, for test only.
2. Launch the game by running the copy of f4se_loader.exe that you placed in the Fallout installation folder.

Thanks for the reply,

F4SE is indeed installed correctly in the root folder and I boot fallout 4 up with the f4se_loader.exe in administator mode.

The error I mentioned pops up in the in game MCM menu and says: Missing plugin: VAFS redux.esp.

However the esp files are just where they need to be in the data folder yet fallout 4 doesn't detect them.

Is the PLugins ENABLED on the PLUGINS Tab? in Vortex?

Also, do you have Hud Framework installed?

Yes, they are all enabled and Hud Framework is installed. However I don't see any deploy option in the plugin section. Maybe it has to do with that?

I said ENABLED, not DEPLOYED in the Plugin section.

Is the button GREEN and says ENABLED next to the VAFS Redux.esp?

They all are green and enabled.

Edit: Weird thing is that all the files are in the right place in fallout4/data directory. I will try now to reinstall some crucial mods like f4se, see if that works..

Edit2: I think I found the root of the problem. when going to the Fallout4/Data/F4SE/Plugins the only files there are those of the working mods. (.dll files)

Weird thing is that the missing files are also missing from the mod downloaded .zip file which would suggest that F4SE generates these files by itself. (Tested this using the VAFS Redux mod files)

this seems to be irrelevant as the mods that do work do come with the .dll file in the .zip folder.. still no clue what is going wrong...

Edit3: checked if it was a mod compatibillity issue, disabled everything but the mods that didn't work. this wasn't the solution either as the problems persisted...

Good riddance! fixed the problem!

It seemed that Vortex didn't load the missing files in the plugin section. Disabling all mods and re-enabling everything fixed my issue.

THE PLUGIN SECTION is what I've been asking you about this whole Time.

Correct.

The weird thing was that all mods in the mods tab were labeled green and enabled.

I Pressed deploy mods at the top yellow bar.

When going to the plugins tab everything was labeled green and enabled.

So my confusion came when everything on Vortex looked alright but Fallout 4 gave all these missing plugin errors.

In the end it got fixed however I have no idea how.

anyway thanks for the help.

Edit:

After some digging around I found the issue. Both Vortex (everything enabled) as the fallout4/data are as they should be.

However when going to %LOCALAPPDATA%/fallout4/plugins.txt The list of plugins in the txt file is incomplete or outdated.

When writing down the plugins manually everything starts to work as it should in game.

So either fallout 4 itself or Vortex has some issues editing this file.
