ProjectPeachy Posted June 28, 2020 Share Posted June 28, 2020 Two days of searching for a dwarvern or literally at this point ANY kind of lore friendly prosthetic arms / legs mods, and now i'm here. On a forum I've literally never even used.Does anyone know enough about meshes to seperate and merge some of the current existing assets of other mods / skyrims data, and create a half decent mod that let's me replace limbs for both male and female PC's?I've seen every request you're considering posting rn please don't, closest I found had the arms attached to the body, which itself was quite rediculous, and so badly made that when I tried to use my pee brain to edit the meshes, I found that the bra was attached to the arms, if you could call those two golden disks a bra, and the legs were attached to some kind of scarf.I can't really get much more dissapointed at this point, since this for some reason simply doesn't exist except for the purposes of extreme self touching, so if this goes unseen, just know that nothing will change, and I will still have all my limbs. Wow, what a terrible way to ask for a mod. I would suggest, that you start learning how to make the mod you want, because I highly doubt you've inspired any modder to want to help you out now. It is remarkable to hear they are actual people who use their talents to make things for themselves and are generous enough to share it with a community. You learn something new every day. It was your attitude, that garnered the responses, but thanks for including a completely non-sequitur ad hominem to make yourself feel better about your rudeness, using such insults as "extreme self-touching" etc.You started with a very entitled and insulting attitude, and even if you're trying to do it yourself, again, don't expect much help because of the attitude you expressed in your OP, and especially in your response. Striker879 Posted June 28, 2020 Share Posted June 28, 2020 Often times in Oblivion modders use a nonintuitive body slot to allow items to be displayed on a character without removing some other part (armor/clothes using the amulet or tail slot ... we don't have a lot of them to play with in Oblivion). My guess would be that some aspect of that is in play with your situation (legs attached to some kind of scarf etc). When you have some experience with these sort of things it can sometimes take a moment for the light to go on and you "Ah ... that's what the modeller did". If you are starting out from ground zero some of this stuff would be no different than voodoo or hieroglyphics. Best advice I can offer is learn to crawl, then walk and run before you attempt a marathon ... way less frustrating. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nobody here mentioned "BoOb MAkErs". There are a lot of talented modders in every category, and even if that category involves human anatomy I don't really see how that is your concern either. Nobody is forcing you to download anything and insulting mod creators isn't likely going to help. People tend to care more when you aren't insulting others. As for the immature 'virgin rally' comment, I don't see how some trollish kid crying in a forum about a lack of prosthetic limbs in a video game projects a tough-guy persona but maybe I'm just out of touch these days. According to reality, you appear to know how to get what you want, so I'm not sure what answer you were expecting.
