I have modded other games strictly using Frosty and worked fine. I wanted to install mods for Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017) so i decided to use Vortex because i assumed it would be somewhat difficult for a beginner. After downloading Vortex, which i thought was easy enough, I selected Star Wars as the game i want to manage. I then downloaded a couple of mods from Nexus. instead of manually downloading any mods, I simply clicked the vortex icon instead. I opened Vortex to see that it was downloading. I installed it. made sure it was enabled, and then hit "deploy mod". In all honesty im still not 100% of what the function is but it sounds like something i should do after making changes? I have downloaded 9 mods in total. It says that i have 9 active mods next to the wrench icon on the Game image under "Managed" games and when i hit profiles. But whenever I launch the game none of the mods that I thought were installed, enabled, and deployed are working. MODS THAT I DOWNLOADED:Better VaderDeggial's Jango fettInstant Action Improvements mandalore maulmovie accurate obi-wanno hologramsorthos's 4k clone legions-main modsaber color changerzatmospgeric lighting All mods are Enabled with the green check mark next to it. Game says that 9 mods are active. I have deployed the mods but whenever the game actually opens, none of the mods are taking effect. I'm at a loss and very disappointed that i cannot figure it out. I know that im probably being dumb but any help would be very appreciated. EDIT:Under "downloads" I have my download folder located in same drive where I install my games. I also have the button checked green for it to Handle nexus mod links.
