For some reason vortex couldn't automatically discover my game, undermine, so I selected the game directory but I don't know if it's right. Maybe it's not and that's my problem, I don't know. But I selected C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\UnderMine for it to discover undermine in order for it to get managed to I can download mods for undermine but unfortunately it didn't work for reasons I don't understand. This is the error: This directory doesn't appear to contain the game. Expected to find these file: UnderMine.exe,UnderMine_Data/Managed/Undermine.dll (please help!!!!)

You show the error message - but do those files actually exist in the Undermine directory?

(side note - don't ever install Steam games under Program Files (86). Vortex - OK, Games - no.)

Uh ok sorry. Didn't know that ever affected how games worked. Yes the files exist

OK - I did my part... Now I have to weasel out and refer you to the Extension author.

Undermine is a contributed extension, in Beta, and the author requests feedback.
