Hello everyone, iv been playing a modded fallout 3 for about a month and iv decided to go to point lookout. I can buy the ticket from tobar and sleep on the cot but when i awake, im stuck in place and the boat is still in the capital wasteland. i use console command to control my character but this doesn't matter because the boat never travels anywhere despite there being a loading screen! iv even got 2 mods to supposedly help with these problems. They have not worked. Mod list attached

You have two mods that do the same thing and are probably the cause of your problem.  I suggest you disable and remove one or both of the PointLookout travel mods and see if that helps.

I got those afterwards to help the problem, sadly they have no effect. the problem is still here even if i remove them :(

Side note, with the travel fix mod, my character can now move around after using the cot (boat still stays in wasteland). The mod removes the animation. Without the mod my character will be stuck, forcing me to use console commands. Interesting

Have you tried to go to PointLookout without using the Unofficial Patch?

I just check the Fallout Wiki https://fallout.fand...nt_Lookout_bugs  and there is no mention of this bug in the vanilla game, which leads me to believe it is caused by a mod conflict.

Im scared of making my game unstable if i take the unofficial patch off. Do you think it will be fine taking that off then potentially on again? You are right, it is from a mod conflict

Make a save, not a fast save, but what is called a hard save.  Disable the patch and try the game.  If you get to Point Lookout, make another hard save and enable the patch.

You should be fine at this point.  If there is a problem after you disable the save, just enable it again and start from the save before you disabled it.
