Can't find skyrimse.exe

So I'm relatively new when it comes to modding. I looked up a video guide on how to use vortex and followed it to the letter, only to now keep ending up with this error.

 

When i launch the game on steam it and start a new game I'm only given the Vanilla start which is how i realized since i use an alternate start mod

 

Don't really know what to do now so i figured I'd make a form post asking for help as a last resort before giving up.

In order for mod to work, you must open the game using the mod manager.

Once you've installed the mods, you can start the game with the Skyrim Launcher, Vortex is only need to install the mods.


Do this, click on GAMES tab, click on the + sign on the Skyrim Special Edition Entry, select "Manually Select Location"

Now, it's looking for the FOLDER for Skyrim Special Edition, so don't panic because you can't see any EXE files, it only wants the FOLDER, now navigate to steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition and once you select the3 Skyrim Special Edit folder, click APPLY
