New Hard Drive and Vortex

How do I get vortex to see mods that are already downloaded and installed into games after having to replace the hard drive that it was originally installed onto

When your game directory went Poof, so did the Vortex mod staging directory. With Hard links, it had to be on the game drive.

 

As long as you still have the download directory, just click Install on each mod. You can select them all as a group.

That will recreate the mod staging directory.

Then Enable the mods you were running with and Deploy.

Extra note, as long as it wasn't the C:\ drive that you had to replace, because that means that your C:\users\YOUR NAME\appdata\roaming\vortex folder with your settings also went *poof*
