[Mod Request] Slinger with gunfire

I'd like to ask if it's possible to add some more explosive gunfire effects to slinger actions/shots.

Like adding some bowgun muzzle flashes to the Slinger Fire, Burst, Claw Attack, and Flinch Shot.

 

Not model replacements, just effects. I kinda want it to feel a bit more powerful.

 

If anyone can direct me into trying to learn how to do this, that would be cool too.

I'm a game dev and I could learn to mod myself if needed.
