Hey there dear modders.

For some reason I decided to start modding in Morrowind in 2020.
So far everything is on track and I was able to do most of the stuff I wanted by looking at tutorials...but there is one thing I absolutely CANNOT figure out.

Combining static meshes is kind of easy...but I wanted to add a vanilla asset to a creature mesh and I have absolutely no clue on how to go about that.

I have Nifskope and Blender and am a total idiot with both of them. Simply adding the mesh I want to attach will make it float around without it moving accordingly with the creatures animation.
The thing I want to attach also doesn't need to animate by itself...it simply needs to be properly attached to it's outside and stay in position/follow the creatures movement. It has something to do with its bones I guess...but I have no clue about how to mess with it.

So is there an idiot friendly way of doing that? Or does someone have the patience to properly explain it to me?

If yes act like I'm a grandma that doesnt even know where the buttons are that I need to click.

Much obliged.
