I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get Xedit to work, for Fallout or Skyrim. Every time I open the program I just get the error message "Cannot create file FO4EditException.log (or Skyrim exception log)".

Now I have given this program every permission to do anything, I run it under administrator, It is not in my program files folder, tried different exception commands, etc. I even created the log myself but then the error just reads that it can't open the log. And I can't close the program without task manager because to close it still wants to open this log file. I mean I have no more permissions to give it.

Please, what can I do??
