bloupotlood Posted August 5, 2020 Share Posted August 5, 2020 (edited) So you're an old Dwemer sorcerer [or custom class], who is imprisoned underground, as you reflect on your coming end, there is a seismic event, and everything around you shakes and collapses, the entire underground complex breaks apart violently, and plunges ever deeper into the depths, taking everyone and everything with it. Impossibly violent sparks of light and flashes of what appears to be magic, combined with unknown pressures as billions of tonnes of mass rage against itself engulf your final moments, your final thoughts are of the end of the world. You awake in a strange state, surely this is it, the afterlife, though you didn't expect to feel so... intact. It's bright, very bright, yet dark at the same time, the lights, there are no flames in them, you're in a city, there is artificial architecture, but you're still underground. You realize you're on your back, you get up slowly, and notice doorways, it's quiet here, you hear talking from within the nearest one, you make your way to towards the voices, hopefully they'll offer merciful answers. Inside it appears to be a shop, you can make out a counter, and two creatures conversing across from it, these two are not a race you know, or have read about, they were stocky, and squirrel like, what happened in the collapse? Where are you? The one behind the counter noticed you, and its big ears pointed up sharply and quickly. "Hey, Welcome to Denny's Video, how can we make your day, hey, I haven't seen you around before, you new in town?" The one behind the counter asked in an unnaturally high pitched voice. "I..." you abruptly stop, your voice, your gaze snaps to your body, you look like them, what madness is this? What foul pit of Sheogorath has fate managed to cast your soul into?
