Loot tables and item stacking question

Hi, Im trying to mod the game so that containers like barrels, sacks and chests never spawn herbs. I've been looking at the files in pack0\globals\loot tables folder. So far I've found several instances of herbs, among other items, that are given properties and spawn rates. However, neither deleting the lines that refer to them, nor changing the spawn chance to 0 has had an effect on them. I'm wondering if anyone knows if there are other files that control this.

 

 

 

Also, I'd like to know if it would be possible to limit how many units of a given items you can hold in the inventory. Perhaps making it so that you cannot pick them after hitting a certain number in a stack, or even better, preventing said item from being picked up.

 

 

 

Any help would be appreciated!
