WMX Weapons Mods Not Installing(?) Also an issue with authority glasses.

Hey!

First time poster here, and I am very sort of miffed with two separate issues.

First: I installed WMX, and got the 9mm Pistol, and got a "9mm Silencer", which I cannot physically put on the pistol. It will not let me mod the gun with the mod, although the mod description says it should be available.

Secondly: Authority Glasses, are bugged. And I don't know how, and I don't know why, but they now hover to the right of the wearer, and are flipped vertically?

Any help the fine folk of this site could provide would be invaluable. Images [x] to hopefully help explain what my inarticulate self cannot.

Also, load order.

You should start the problem resolution by removing the unused plugins. Then, read you load order and move any compatibility patches to load after the mods being patched.

Did you install the mods one at a time and check in the game to see if they are working properly?

And to answer your other, sort of? I was having some issues with meshes in the last two days, and thought it was WMX, so I've uninstalled and reinstalled it and its patches over and over thinking it was them. When I realised it wasn't them, I just started playing, and only stopped when I saw this issue with the 9mm.

Also, I've updated the OP with the new load order. And I think I've done what's been asked.

That updated "load order" looks off to me (the Project Nevada ESP plugins in particular are placed too low). LOOT does a good job of determining those basic orders. Getting the "load order" incorrect will cause "Missing Masters" errors as well. You can make minor adjustments to the order and tell LOOT how to remember them. It's in the on-line documentation under "Metadata".

You need to understand that "weapon mods" (the item, not the plugin) are not actually "generic", because there are "vanilla" weapons, DLC weapons (specifically those from the "Pre-Order Packs (POP)" and GRA among others), and mod added versions. The "weapon mods" will only work with "internally matching named" weapons. So a silencer for a vanilla 9mm may not be compatible with a GRA 9mm and one for a pistol won't work with a rifle. The same can apply to a patched weapon. This can be a rationale behind some plugins which simply "rename" weapons and their mods.

"The Mod Configuration Menu (MCM)" is intended to deal with those issues, but it does so by checking the internal naming and refusing to allow adding incompatibles; not by making different names compatible. Please see "Issue: WMM The Weapon Mod Menu will not let me add a weapon mod in game" and "Issue - WMX loses my existing weapon mods to the Weathered 10mm pistol" under the "Solutions to Control problems" section of the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" article.

The mod "lStewieAl's Tweaks" now includes most (perhaps all) of the functionality of "MCM".

Re: Authority Glasses. Please see "Issue - Authority Glasses worn weirdly" under "Solutions to Graphics problems" of the same wiki article.
