Problem with shading/lighting/normal maps?

After exporting a model from blender 2.49 I noticed strange lighting glitches on some parts of it, seems they are caused by the normal map, but I have no idea why. Are there any ways to fix this and to know what's causing it? Another similar model didn't have such problems. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Here you can see strange white strobes in the middle.

Not as noticeable in geck, but still annoying.
