Learned how to make 3d LODs with DynDolod yesterday. My trees out in the distance look great! I also dont get crazy tree popping. My LODs dont change from 1 tree to a completely different one anymore and for that I am grateful. Now I have this texture/shadow flicker on my trees

I emptied out my DynDOLOD cache before running. It only does it at this distance. After the flicker stops the trees look normal just slightly less lush, but barely. Not sure if DynDOLOD is making my LODs look more lush and as I get closer they change to normal? Never had this problem before and I am so close to having my trees perfect. I am using EVT Large Lush trees. Perhaps it is an INI configuration?

Where is your DynDOLOD Output in your load order? I don’t see it.

And are you running g TexGen beforehand? I don’t see it either.

Oh yeah forgot to add that. Yeah I have Dyndolod Resources before the tree mods, ran Texgen placed after tree mods, ran Dyndolod after clearing out the Cache and made sure output folders were empty and loaded that after. Thanks for reminding me

This happens because LODs in Skyrim are basically ONLY textures - simple 2D images. The don't have meshes (model), thats why no matter how HD the LOD textures will be, trees will still pop-in, because the difference between flat 2D image and actual tree model is huge.
