If i die and it loads a savegame it loads normally and after that i can't save the game anymore unless i close it and restart it. Also if i load it myself it gets greyed out.

Modlist:

Text: Pastebin

What i tried:

Make a fresh game

Removed mods i do not need(this is the current one from 195 to 178 mods)

Look trough modlist to see what could cause it

Checked the mods i think which could be it(Spoiler: Its not fixed)

Im using MO2.

Someone else is having the same exact problem in another thread. I'll ask you the same things I asked them, for starters.

Is this something you can trigger reliably? That will help in narrowing the source of this problem.

Does this always seem to happen after you die? Or, do you find yourself Pausing the game while it's in the middle of Autosaving?

If you think you're doing that accidentally - try turning off all Autosaves.

Is your Cloud Storage saving enabled? If so, turn it off.

Above all though - you need to stop using UFO4Patch. The Patch is more likely to break your game than fix it if you're installing it into a Load Order that's anywhere near 1oo mods full.

Do not try uninstalling it mid-playthrough, though. Except for testing to see if it is the source of the glitch.

Looking at your LO, I want to ask what size your save files are? How many Sim Settlements are in your game? I see that you have the Baka mod to help with that, but it may not be enough.

it always happens when i die, or like i said when i load manually.

I will try the autosave off and the cloud storage save off.

I always used the UFO4Patch, i've read in a few posts here that it has become a bigger problem lately. Its pretty new to me to not use it but i will try a fresh game start without it.

my savegames are about 26 - 32 MB. and i use baka just in case but i think i don't need it completely since im not completely loaded with script heavy mods from what i have seen. Its more a "just in case mod" for me currently.

Okay i removed the autosave in pipboy and the cloud save from steam. I have also disabled UFO4Patch and started a fresh game.. no luck

I skipped to the vault pod exit scene and then saved the game and loaded it and its still greyed out afterwards. Something which i can do is maybe compare our modlist me and from the other dude to see what mods we have in common, a few pair of eyes are better than one in spotting something doe so if you guys compare them too that would be a big help. Thanks in advance in either case of you looking over it or not.

It should be much easier for you to narrow down the source of your glitch, since you're able to reliably trigger it.

Just go through in chunks of 1o mods at a time.

But before doing any of that - start up an unmodded game and see if you still get the glitch even then.

If you get this glitch on an unmodded problem, something else is the problem.

I'll give that a shot, Thanks for helping me

Btw why do you always write 1o instead of 10? or does this mean 1 mod and not 10?
