BalthieGaming Posted September 12, 2020 Share Posted September 12, 2020 Its been years since i've modded fallout NV and i got back into it today and perhaps wasn't paying good attention. Start up runs fine until it finishes loading and proceeds to the main menu, however no picture shows, instead its a purple screen with a interactable Vault boy, When you hover your mouse over it, it says "Fallout New Vegas 1.4.0.525 - DarNified UI NV v0.0.5.p17 - Powered by NVSE Zero.zero - JIP LN NVSE plugin Zero.zero".To get that information, i had to go back into the fallout tab and it is now showing a background but no buttons to start or load the game, its a blank screen with the vault boy. I was saddened to see the old NMM was replaced, but ive tried my best with the new manager, just hope i can find a solution. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Because niether Vortex or NMM can install it properly, it must be installed manually, and the FONV ini files need to be manually edited too. Also, i cant seem to uninstall Darnified, i completely reinstalled the game and didnt install DarNified yet it still shows up in the main menu Reinstalling the game isn't going to get rid of a mod that's already been installed.All you did was waste your time reinstalling the game. You need to remove all traces of DarnUI from the game folder. The best thing to do right now, is delete the game folder COMPLETELY and re-download and install the game. Make sure to uninstall any mods FIRST If you couldn't uninstall DarnUI with Vortex, then you never installed it with Vortex, and you installed it some other way.
