Help with mods that can improve the look of Skyrim SE

Hello i'm new in the modding of skyrim since all my life i played in console (i know a shame) but finally i have a laptop that can run it and i can enjoy it.

 

but i want to see how much i can improve my gameplay experience, I try to find the aspects you need for enbs but i cant find anything so i follow a tutorial but of course the game wont respond and the screen will stay black after a message in the left upper corner.

 

so if i can't install enbs wich mods could make it look better?

I have a acer nitro 5 with a intel core i5-9300 2.40ghz, GTX 1650 4gb and 16gb of ram

A good way to improve the game's visuals are texture mods.

Here's my favourite one. But there are literally doezens of good texture replacers. Browse the Nexus and and find somethig you like.

 

 

In general, ENB can make a huge difference. Your system may struggle with "high end" presets, but it should generally be capable of running an ENB.

 

So, I wouldn't give up on ENB so easily.

Look at the description of this preset. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. There are detailed installation instructions for ENBs, including a video. You probably simply made a mistake in the installation process.

 

Modding Sykrim is about mistakes, trial and error. Especially when you're new to the whole modding thing, not everything will work perfectly on your first try. Don't give up! :devil:

Sorry, didn't think about this... Although it sounds differently on the mod's page, you can simply install the textures as they are. No problems, everything should work fine.

 

xLODGen and Dyndolod are programs to create and (in the case of Dyndolod) "manage" and dynamically update so-called LODs (Load On Distance objects and textures). If you want a perfect look for objects farther in the distance, it is recommended to use both xLODGen and Dyndolod. BTW, this goes for any landscape and buildings texture replacer, not just the one I mentioned above.

 

Both xLODGen and Dyndolod require some reading and getting familiar with the software and its settings. TBH, that's something I'd recommend for later. For now, you should probably simply install some texture replacers and see, how good Skyrim can look with the right textures. Learning how to create that perfect LOD could be a "project" when you're more familiar with modding.
