Im very new to this

So Im trying to follow the guide on how to make all my folders to work together and mod Skyrim SE. I never used Vortex before and im extremely confused on what im doing aka everything.
If someone with more experience then I do could help? That would be great! Talking on discord or something i dont mind just need some help on how this modding thing works.

Ya I'll hope over there and ask for more help. im at the part where im in settings and going back and forth with "Mods" and "Download" Saying: "The Destination Folder has to be empty"

It sounds like you're trying to put the mod staging folder where it shouldn't go. Try the "Suggest" button next to the input field and Vortex will pick a suitable directory.

I did that but still wont let me apply the download part

Ah, that one doesn't have a suggestion option. You'll just want to set it to a folder that is currently empty.
