Custom follower stays at same place after dismissed

Recommended Posts

I think you would need to give them a Sandbox package for some location (their "home") and put it under the Follower package in the list.

In theory they would then default to sandboxing (many of the vanilla sandbox packages include a travel command) if the follower package isn't currently active.

Every follower has a 'home' sandbox package. That's how you find Lydia in Dragonsreach and she stays there until you ask her to follow you. When she follows her follower faction value changes, not sure if it changes from -1 to 0 or 0 to 1, you'd have to check a follower's initial faction value. The 'home' sandbox package is conditioned on whether the follower is currently - following. GetInFaction condition.

First thing I would check is to see if her packages are ordered by time day (if more than one) and that the last one is the one with no time set, like work at place A from 0900-1700, sleep at place B from 2200-0600, sandbox at place C anytime.

Also double check that the sandbox or home package is editor location or near a selected reference, rather than wherever in the world she finds herself when "told" to sandbox.
