looking new mod for New Addiction Systeme

It is obvious that Bethesda has not been able to integrate the principle of drug addiction into its game. A simple nerf of the SPECIAL attributes is not enough to make it immersive. It would be really interesting to create a mod that finally fixes this. I explain the principle that I imagined. Until now, it took a doctor or items to remove the addictive effect.

 

The principle of an addiction: take it again to regain the effects and stop the lack. Imagine, I got hooked on Psycho. I keep the SPECIAL nerve, until I take it again. Resuming a dose of psycho TEMPORARILY cancels the addictive effect, as well as the nerve of SPECIAL attributes.

 

And I remain a prisoner of this infernal circle until I am cured of my addiction. Spend your money with Wolfgang because YOU NEED MORE, in order to TEMPORARILY cancel the dependance effect.

 

This will add a new difficulty, and a really immersive character to the drugs of Fallout. Bethesda has no idea what a drug addiction is. Let's make this aspect of Fallout finally realistic.

 

 

So I'm looking for someone who would be able to bring up such a mod. I'm French, so I'm embarrassed by mods that change the name of in-game items to their English version ... So, can someone finally give Fallout this new addiction system? Take more to temporarily reverse the addictive effects.

+1 with reservations...

 

You are right, but adding to your point...

 

1) Distinguish between physical/psychological addiction.

2) The temporary bonus effects should be increased/multiplied/extended with "level(s) of addiction".
(This functionality already exists in the game (not well implemented)).

3) Brief reprieve from nerf(s) as "afterglow".

4) Increasingly frequent "Itch" notifications...

5) Possible to "dry out" over time (several days).

6) Visual withdrawl side effects instead of/in addition to nerfs. (blurred/pulsing vision, fading light/color saturation, hallucinations)...

(This functionality already exists in the game (not implemented for this)).

7) Long term effects, can be positive/negative for gameplay.

8) Should effect NPCs/Companions individually too.

 

The system should be converted to purely perks if possible.

 

Unfortunately I can describe it, but can't make it happen.

I'm looking for something that seems much simpler to me: take again the drug (ex. Psycho/Jet) will reverse the negative effects, but TEMPORARILY, before coming back a few hours later. This would force a regular intake of the drug (ex. Psycho/Jet), until weaning.
