is there a script that i can attach to a misc object or apparel that will allow me to open a terminal from the pipboy. or is there a way i can script the terminal to open from a hotkey. 

 

i have tried using ShowComputersInterface but it has not worked for me

 

i am using the most up to date versions of NVSE, JIP LN, JohnnyGuitar.

Even easier way I've used in the past: You put a terminal underground in say goodsprings and when the player equips a piece of apparel you just use the line Player.Activate TerminalRef. I believe the only issue with this is that you have to exit the pipboy interface before using the terminal.

Nevada Skies has (had?) an Aid item that calls up a Terminal for its configuration.

 

Check how they did it.
