invisible weapons and inaccessible weapon inventory

I have this weird thing where I start out with a weapon but the weapon is invisible and it is impossible to remove even with "removeallitems." Along with this, I cannot add any new weapons and my weapon inventory is inaccessible. I have found that none of the mods are responsible for this. How do I fix these things?
