Looking for a mod that can allow other NPCs to be guild leaders

So this is something that has kind of annoyed me about Skyrim for a long time (and other ES games really), its super easy to go from some rando nobody to, in a matter of months, being the most powerful person in Skyrim - the Dragonborn, the leader of the Thieves Guild, Listener of the Dark Brotherhood, Harbinger of the Companions, potentially the leader of an ancient vampire coven in a castle, a high ranking member of the Stormcloak or Imperial Army, and whatever else. Your the newest member in all of these guilds and somehow magically "the chosen one" in some way or another in every scenario, which is all well and good, but things haven't always worked out well for the chosen ones. On top of that the average Joe still regards you as another average Joe in a lot of cases, like dumb Ulfric wanting you to go kill some Ice Wraiths to prove yourself even if your the damned Harbinger of the damned Companions, but on that part whatever, I think there is a mod for that.

Basically what I'm looking for is a mod that allows you to either defer leadership of a guild when offered it, or to take it but delegate another person in the guild as the leader, or of course just be the leader.

If there is not such a thing, I am open to try and do it myself if anyone has a good Skyrim modding guide they can point me in the direction of. I've done a fair amount of modding on other games.

Thanks in advance!

The only one I know of offhand is Choose Your Own Archmage, by SomethingObscure, which works well in my game. I haven't seen any for the other guilds, yet.

This is the first guide I used, and the one that has turned out to be most helpful for me, though I've never ventured into quest modding, so I can't say how it performs there. It works for me because I am the constant reference type, who does better with a list open, that I can refer to step-by-step. https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=Category:Getting_Started

If you're better with videos, there are many, but Darkfox127 makes a good tutorial series on youtube, which covers a lot of areas.

Thanks, I'll check those out, for anyone who's interested I've found one for the thieves guild as well.

As for the companions and the dark brotherhood, there's not a whole lot to gain by doing those 2 if you're not interested in playing a character of those styles. Dark brotherhood especially, since you can just destroy them. My opinion as far as realism.
