CreepyEduardo Posted October 28, 2020 Share Posted October 28, 2020 so, this is a relatively new issue i've been havinghere's some context. i've been modding Skyrim since 2012. not too long ago, the external hard drive that i had installed Skyrim SE on had died. i reinstalled SSE on another external hard drive and all of the mods i used (plus a few new ones)previous installation had typically instability issues, but nothing too serious. current installation has a new problem, however. as the title says, every time i enter a Nordic Tomb/Ruin or whenever i go off the beaten path and go into the wilds of Skyrim, i get a CTD. i've done a clean install of the game and downloaded files that were supposed fixes (including engine fixes and bug fixes). i've even turned off a few of the newer mods to see if that would help. file verification does nothing. however, the game still CTDs on both new and old saves whenever i enter tombs such as Bleak Falls Barrow or Ogmund's Tomb (modded). i would greatly appreciate any help anyone can give, since i'm at a complete loss for what to dobelow you'll find my current load order (247 mods): Skyrim.esm Update.esm Dawnguard.esm HearthFires.esm Dragonborn.esm Lanterns of Skyrim - G4M3W1NN3R Posted October 31, 2020 Share Posted October 31, 2020 if your running Racemenu, ensure to update to latest version, as previous version introduced a bug regarding animation behavior graphs for NPC's, Draugr being 1 of them, which results in a CTD when encoutering said NPCs, i mention this as you specified you crash in draugr locations, as such could mean draugr are causing the CTD, also you mention in the wilds which could also be were skeletons are encountered, i assume said animation graph bug also affects them. so yea try updating Racemenu to current version, and see if that solves the problem Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
