I keep writing to Larian every time I send in a crash report and begging them to make Sassa the Goblin a recruitable and romanceable camp follower, so maybe I'll add Karlach as an adventuring companion into my wish list. What I'd really like is to be able to build a party made up entirely of custom characters though. I doubt that'll ever be a built in feature, so hopefully a mod will come along some day that can make it happen. Just like rolled stats (instead of the point buy system). I keep hoping that will get built in as an option for the full game some day, but I'll more than likely have to find a clever mod that can make it happen when that time comes.
