I am using Save Cleaner to view the active scripts in my saves, but it does not show what mods created them from what I can tell.
I need to know because active scripts are accumulating over time in my game, causing pretty bad lag for things like soul trapping and NPC interactions that take about 10sec to work, if at all.
There are roughly 150 new active scripts every 30mins or so...
Interestingly enough, by the time I figured out that this was the issue I had nearly 160k active scripts... The most I've seen other people have trouble with is between 10-20k and they had far worse lag.
Idk if I should be worried or impressed that it was able to get to this point and still be playable. Either way, I have temporarily "solved" the issue by deleting every single active script because I have no idea which ones are necessary or not. This is probably going to cause other issues, and sort of has already, but idk what else to do besides purging all the scripts and just waiting until it becomes intolerable.
So is there any way to track down where they are coming from? Idt posting my mod list will matter in this case because I'm asking how to find the culprit myself, but I will share it anyway.
Thanks in advance and sorry for any mistakes. Btw I don't use a mod manager if that matters.
