Trouble with Scripting (bringing children to Severin Manor)

Let me start off by saying I'm new to the entire scripting process. I've been attempting to script and compile using Notepad++. I've tried reading up on it and learning what I can before I got started, but I'm a bit baffled at the moment.

 

I was attempting to modify my first script, the "BYOHRelationshipAdoptionScript.psc" script from Hearthfire to include Severin Manor in the script, and while I thought I had it right, I got compiler failures. Not a big deal right? Then, just out of curiosity I took the original unmodified code and tried to compile it only to discover it too fails to compile, and seems to give the same compiler errors as my modified code.

 

Needless to say, I'm admittedly lost on how the code that came with the game fails to compile, it just makes no sense to me. Unfortunately because the code is so long, I can't even apparently post it to the nexus forums under spoiler tags. All I can do is give the name again, "BYOHRelationshipAdoptionScript.psc"

I haven't got Hearthfire so I can't test-compile that script, but I can give you some help troubleshooting.

 

When you compile, there should be a line number and an error. Can you copy / paste the error, and that line?

 

Also, how are you "adding" Severin Manor? (Again, without seeing the script, I can't be sure of how this should even be accomplished - though my instinct is it should be in a FormList.)
