RoxieHarlin Posted March 1, 2013 Share Posted March 1, 2013 For the last couple of games, I've gone off to Aventus Aretino in Windhelm, to get the Dark Brotherhood quests started. But Aventus is sitting in a chair, instead of doing the ritual, and I can't even click on him! I wonder how I can fix this? I don't mind using the console to advance the quest if necessary, as a temporary measure, but of course I'd prefer the whole quest to be working again without my help. Georgiegril Posted March 1, 2013 Share Posted March 1, 2013 Every now and then I run into issues where I do not get the expected dialog, and most times it is because I neglected to make the related quest active in my journal. Even with the quest highlighted in my inventory, I couldn't click on Aventus, so in the end I had to use the console to advance the quest, and even though I've finished the quest now, I can't get rid of the arrow above Aventus. Strangely enough, I can't get my own marker or quest markers on the main map, or door markers on the local map either!
