I'm sorry but this is probably not the place to post this comment, but I have to say that every one of you that contribute to the game content and this game community are incredibly creative and you're riding the cusp of one of a modern art form that will be looked upon as pioneering in the same way that the original content 3rd party content creators for doom and some other games that had that kind of 3rd party content community. But more importantly, you're playing a part in the shaping of experiences and learning in an entirely different way that was likely only really grasped when guys like the Wachowski brothers, William Gibson, Nick Bostrom, Ray Kurzweil and some other pioneers of the future were talking about. Some of you could be writing and directing creative content for some other popular mediums and I hope that in some time, that you get that opportunity. Sorry, it might sound like kissing arse but that's not what I'm getting at. It's kind of like a world that we can all be in, but not together, yet we know it from our own individual experiences. I certainly hope that Bethesda, whose content I've been playing since they released Arena, Terminator: 2029 and Future Shock, Morrowind and many others, do Fallout 3 as a persistent world (and I mean the whole world, including Chinese factions allied with Enclave, Brotherhood or independent as governed by plot) in the future while retaining the "flavour" of the Fallout Universe which pays remarkable homages to the work of everything from Road Warrior, Spaghetti Westerns to that of James Cameron and Terry Gilliam. My friends, this is the new companion medium to film and television and the near future will likely marry the two while retaining the uniqueness and strength of each in a way that we can't fully see right now. Sorry that's kind of long winded, but that's what you're playing part in. You're breathing life into a world, just like a writer, author, cinematographer or director. Thanks guys... I'll try posting this somewhere else as well, but I noticed when I looked at the name of this mod and thought, the world of FO3 has an incredible community. Thanks for the awesome mods and in game world experiences. What an awesome time we live in. So many ways to experience the creativity of others and so many ways to give to it. That's the kind of world I've dreamt about my whole life. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to jump into F03 and avoid being blown to smithereens by Raiders pissed at me for drawing attention to the Fallout 3 world... ;-)
